These are the top reasons why Twitter got a bad reputation in the press when they first started out. For the past several years twitter certainly has come a long way.

And, you will not believe that some of the famous people are using Twitter. In 2007, twitter was used by the Los Angeles Fire Department to update the public about the devastating California wildfires. Sometimes, Twitter is also used by NASA to update about certain projects. Then, there is the United States President Barack Obama; he used twitter in his election campaign. Lastly, the Israel government used Twitter for holding press conferences and participates in the question and answer time regarding the ongoing fight against Hamas, Gaza.
